7th of October...Drouthy's Basement...We're back

The KOROVA CONSPIRACY returns to Drouthy's Basement for a night of Discofied Edit's and Deep House with Korova head honcho and GOING BACK TO OUR ROOTS resident BAXTER PARK SUNBATHER and local legend DIGGIN DEEPER's ALAN LIVIE

Alan Livie has been a lover of house music since its birth. As well as DJing locally between '91 and '96 he also had some production success as Trench (with Chris McGraw) on 4 releases on George Morel's 'Groove On' label before spiraling into DJ hibernation for 12 years.Revival came from the 'Going Back To Our Roots' team who 'woke him up' for the first GBTOR night in 2008 and he's been playing out and making mixes ever since.Currently he is working on new deep house productions with the view to have one finished by 2020....

The action kicks off at 8 till 12 and its FREE.......not to be missed ....

Baxter Park Sunbather-Korova Last one of the Year.... by Baxter Park Sunbather

Leftside Wobble-Love Groove

Re-grooved version of a Cerrone classic that builds, twists & undulates over the course of it's near nine minute journey. In many ways this was the prototype for House music but using real musicians rather that machines. A simple infectious groove that gets under your skin and builds towards a stunning sax laden crescendo towards the close.
